1. The service
Kika Payroll provides payroll calculation, payslip, reporting and related tools for Kenyan employers. Calculations (PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, Housing Levy and others) are based on the statutory rates configured in the app, which may be edited by the account holder.
2. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the employee and pay data you enter, for reviewing payroll outputs before payment or filing, and for meeting your obligations to the Kenya Revenue Authority and other bodies. KikaCalc results are illustrative and based on basic salary only.
3. Accounts and trials
New accounts start with a free 60-day trial. After the trial ends, continued use requires an active subscription. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and employee portal PINs confidential.
4. Acceptable use
You may only use the service for lawful payroll purposes for companies you are authorised to represent. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse or unlawful activity.
5. Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kika Payroll is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including penalties arising from data entered or configuration choices made by the account holder.
